Hey Chavie =) sorry men, been busy with wedding stuff =( I DO read all of you guys' blog posts though =]
...TSC's new rant :
Absolutely flabbergasted at how naive and 19th century some people can be with regard to religious and racial issues...
How people can change at the blink of an eye, how they hide their real thoughts and it's only a mask you see ...
How can we talk about uniting the country.. of forgetting racial and religious differences, when you can't even get over it among your friends??? =[
There was a Dog show by the Kennel Asso. on Sunday - sadly, TSC missed it ... *snif, snif** ='(
.:.:. P.S. : Hey Surani & Harumi, can I have your comments on Chavie's comment and my post please? =D .:.:.:.

Heyyy!!! :D glad to see you're back TSC! :) I hope everything is going according to schedule and all? :)
and this 'friends acting like asses' business... did it happen with your friends? :S
anyways, I believe that when you're fed prejudice from the time you're a little kid, it takes hold of a person, and is hard to get rid of later on. we can only be hopeful that the next generation grows up with parents who don't teach their kids to be prejudicial... they say kids are colourblind, and that should be kept that way, and I think people need to work towards that...
Thks chavie =)
Yes Thats what I think too... Only problem is, I'm getting a bit scared about how hard it's going to be bringing up a child and trying to teach them not be prejudiced etc... maybe I should ask surani & Harumi =)
@TSC: if you aren't prejudicial, and make sure you communicate that point to them, and make sure they have friends from all communities and backgrounds, I think you'll be fine! :) take a look at this short clip by the late Yasmin Ahmad... :)
Good to see ya back TSC and welcome back! ^__^
You have a new set of random thoughts I see. =D
1st point: true.. cuz some people fear change.. even though change is inevitable
2nd: change is inevitable.. so I guess we're supposed to expect it at all times! =D hiding thoughts and bluffing.. I hate that kinda species.. but I guess the earth, esp. the www is infested with them the most! =D
3rd: you can't? I never had that prob.. since my school was a pot-pourri + fruit salad + masala + nonstop Baila.. if that makes sense! lol I had friends from practically all backgrounds, classes(lower class through upper class), races, religions, Martians, Andromedans, Plutonians etc. o__O
Same goes for my relatives.. with less Muslims and Hindus yet.. it's a fine mixture. But I know it's not a common thing with every family or school. so yep, it is hard.
PS: And oops! I've not yet brought up a child! O__O Though I've taught of bunch of sweet-to-notorious kids (ages =11 to 19 and 30 and 45 year olders!)while I was a computer teacher, so um.. I wonder if I could help on this. Um.. but my brain works real slow now since I'm a lil tired today, so can I drop in again tomorrow and give a more intellectual answer? =D
PS: then again, even my sleepy slow brain can answer one thing without having to think twice. Parents need to set an example, teachers too and so is all adults.. if they want a future generation that treats everyone equally. And the best place to start it.. is from home and classroom. ^__^
